未だに
still
even now (negative nuance)
Explanation
NOTE

いまだに means still or even now — used when a situation has continued far longer than expected, often with a tone of surprise or frustration.

事故じこ原因げんいんいまだにからない。
The cause of the accident is still unknown.
Often paired with a negative verb to express *still not...*.
NOTE

いまだに usually appears with a negative predicate, expressing that something has not happened yet despite the long passage of time.

NOTE

Unlike まだ, いまだに carries a stronger nuance of exasperation or surprise that the situation has not changed.
