Explanation
NOTE

〜は別はべつとして means setting X aside or apart from X — used to exclude a topic from the main point.

値段ねだんは別べつとして、デザインはいい。
Setting aside the price, the design is nice.
The speaker excludes 値段 from the evaluation and focuses on デザイン.

Use it to acknowledge that one matter is a separate issue, then comment on the rest.
