Explanation
NOTE
〜てからでないと means unless you do X first — a required prior action without which the second clause cannot happen.
手を洗ってからでないと、ご飯は食べられない。
Unless you wash your hands first, you can't eat.
The second clause is almost always **negative** or expresses impossibility.
NOTE
Use it for prerequisites: rules, procedures, or natural sequences where step A must happen before step B is possible.
NOTE
Attach からでないと to the te-form of a verb. The closely related 〜てからでなければ is slightly more formal.
STRUCTURE

Sensei ni kiite kara denai to, shukudai ga wakarimasen.
I won't understand the homework unless I ask the teacher.
材料を買ってからでないと、料理ができません。
Zairyou o katte kara denai to, ryouri ga dekimasen.
I can't cook unless I buy the ingredients.
全部読んでからでないと、質問に答えられません。
Zenbu yonde kara denai to, shitsumon ni kotaeraremasen.
I cannot answer the question until I have read everything.
宿題をしてからでないと、遊びに行けない。
Shukudai wo shitekaradenaito, asobi ni ikenai.
Unless you do your homework first, you can't go out to play.
予約をしてからでないと、この店には入れません。
Yoyaku wo shitekaradenaito, kono mise ni wa hairemasen.
Unless you make a reservation first, you can't enter this restaurant.
上司に相談してからでないと、返事ができない。
Joushi ni soudan shitekaradenaito, henji ga dekinai.
Unless I consult my boss first, I can't give you an answer.
