Explanation
NOTE
〜様によっては means depending on the way — the outcome changes based on how something is done.
言様によっては、相手を怒らせてしまう。
Depending on the way you say it, you might anger the other person.
NOTE
Here 様（よう） means way or manner, and によっては adds the sense of depending on.
使様によっては、便利な道具になる。
Depending on how it is used, it becomes a useful tool.
The result can be positive or negative depending on the method.
NOTE
Attach 様によっては to the verb stem (the ます-form without ます), as in 言い or 使い.
