Explanation
NOTE
〜を経て means via or through — something passes through a stage, place, or process on the way to a result.
この計画は長い議論を経て決まった。
This plan was decided through long discussion.
NOTE
It is formal and written. It also means after — a period of time or a process has been gone through.
三年の準備を経て、店を開いた。
After three years of preparation, I opened the shop.
Use 〜を経て when a result is reached only after passing through a clear stage or process.
NOTE
Attach を経て directly to a noun — usually a place, stage, or process.
