NOTE
〜ものを means although / should have — it expresses regret or blame over an unrealized option.
早く言えば助けてあげたものを。
If you had told me sooner, I would have helped you.
NOTE
It carries a regretful or reproachful tone. The better option was available but not taken.
謝れば済んだものを。
If you had apologized, it would have been fine.
ものを often ends a sentence, leaving the criticism implied.
NOTE
Attach ものを to a verb in plain form, usually the past tense describing the missed action.

Hayaku ieba ii monowo, damatte ita kara komarimashita.
You should have just told me earlier; since you stayed silent, I was troubled.
静かに待っていればいい物をものを、外へ飛び出してしまった。
Shizuka ni matte ireba ii monowo, soto e tobidashite shimatta.
He should have just waited quietly, yet he ran outside.
