Explanation
NOTE
〜に基づいて means on the premise of — an action takes something as its basis or foundation.
データに基づいて結論を出した。
We reached a conclusion on the basis of the data.
NOTE
It is formal and often follows a noun like evidence, experience, or a contract used as the foundation.
経験に基づいて助言した。
I gave advice based on my experience.
に基づいて is common with nouns such as data, evidence, rules, and experience.
NOTE
Attach に基づいて directly to a noun. To modify a following noun, use the form に基づいた.
