NOTE
〜にたえる means worth doing — something is good enough to be worth the effort of doing.
この本は大人の鑑賞にたえる作品だ。
This book is a work worth an adult's appreciation.
NOTE
It also means bearable — something can be endured, often used in the negative にたえない for things too painful to bear.
その映画は見るにたえないほどひどかった。
That movie was so terrible it was unbearable to watch.
The negative form にたえない expresses that something is too unpleasant to endure.
NOTE
It is formal and written. Attach にたえる to a verb in dictionary form or to a noun.

NOTE
With a noun, attach にたえる directly. It often pairs with nouns like 鑑賞 (appreciation) or 使用 (use).
