Explanation
NOTE
〜をおいて〜ない means none other than — nobody and nothing else can fill the role.
この仕事ができるのは、彼をおいてほかにいない。
None other than him can do this job.
NOTE
It is formal and emphatic. It is used to praise or single out the only fitting choice.
リーダーにふさわしいのは、彼女をおいていないだろう。
There is probably no one other than her suited to be the leader.
The final clause is usually a negative existence verb like いない or ない.
NOTE
Attach をおいて directly to a noun, then end the sentence with a negative such as ない.
