Explanation
NOTE
〜ものとして means assuming / supposing — you treat something as a given premise and act on it.
全員が来るものとして準備しよう。
Let's prepare assuming everyone will come.
NOTE
It is formal. The premise may not be certain — you simply proceed as if it were true.
明日は晴れるものとして計画を立てた。
I made a plan assuming it will be sunny tomorrow.
The action in the main clause is carried out on the basis of the assumed premise.
NOTE
Attach ものとして to a verb in plain form. The premise comes first, the action based on it follows.

Ashita wa hareru yohou na node, ensoku wa jisshi suru mono to shite junbi shimasu.
Since it is forecast to be sunny tomorrow, we will prepare assuming the field trip will be held.
みんなが来る時間は遅いと考え、夜の8時に開始するものとして計画しました。
Minna ga kuru jikan wa osoi to kangae, yoru no hachiji ni kaishi suru mono to shite keikaku shimashita.
