NOTE

〜ながらに means while in a state of — an action happens while staying in one unchanged condition.

彼女かのじょは涙なみだながらに話はなした。
She spoke while in tears.
NOTE

It is formal and literary, often used with set phrases like 涙ながらに or 生まれながらに.

彼かれは生うまれながらに才能さいのうを持もっていた。
He had talent from birth.
生まれながらに (umare nagara ni) carries the meaning of 'born with' or 'innately'.
NOTE

Attach ながらに to a noun or to the stem of a verb. It modifies the action that follows.
